Flavored Water Isn’t Going Away

Flavored water isn’t going away because of various reasons. The first reason that is likely to propel the growth of flavored water forward is the paradigm shift of consumers towards a healthy lifestyle. At a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.3%, the size of the worldwide market for flavored water is projected to increase from $23.44 billion in 2021 to $25.38 billion in 2022. At a CAGR of 8.3%, the worldwide flavored water market is projected to reach $34.97 billion in 2026.

Secondly, flavored water brands are embracing strategic partnerships. They are working to create new technology and products. In January 2022, Phocus, a US flavored water manufacturer, teamed with Kroger, a US supermarket and multi-department store chain. Phocus may sell its goods at 185 Kroger stores in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina under the deal.

BLNCD Naturals and Big Watt Coffee, two US manufacturers, introduced a new line in February 2020. BLNCD Naturals sells quality CBD and hemp products. Big Watt on the other hand Coffee makes caffeinated sparkling water. To capitalize on sparkling water's rise, the two launched a CBD-infused sparkling water brand. These new drinks — blueberry lemon, pink grapefruit, and berry acai — have different benefits. All three 12-ounce cans contain 20mg CBD.
